First DSLR pics

So I finally took the plunge and bought a DSLR. Its a D70 I picked up off ebay. I got it today so I went shot some pics around campus. Unfortunately I had some trouble with my tripod in the night shots, but thought I'd post them anyways. I've done nothing to these pics...straight from camera to photobucket.

Amazing, how early in their "carreer" D-SLR users venture out to photograph in the night - took my decades to venture into that area of photography, and I knew too little and had too little faith in me while shooting film only for night photography! In those days, I never owned a tripod, mind you...

So congrats on camera, and on the tripod, and on your braveness to also go out at night to shoot.

There's nothing wrong in working on photos in post, though, and straightening inclined horizons isn't condemnable at all...
