Thanks for looking!

2 is quite nice, id clone that bit of distraction off top left hand side. remove the vingette and crop a bit off the right

I like #3 but I wish her hand with the ring was not OOF since these are engagement pictures. They look a little too posed in the other two and the reflections in the glass in #1 are distracting to me. #2 just doesn't do anything for me personally. It may mean more to the couple so I am not bashing it but I don't get a feeling of love or excitement or anything from that photo. Do you have more from this shoot?

Rob - Yeah, I think that a crop is a good idea.

Karri - There were a few things that I didn't care for, like the Ring OOF. I have more, but they are not edited yet, as I just shot these yesterday. We are also planning on doing another quick session once the weather gets warmer.

Thanks for your input!

Gotcha, Rosshole! I think the quality of the pictures is good; just looking for more of something to reflect the purpose of the pictures. I am very interested in this type of photography so I am learning from other people's pictures/sessions, like this thread so thank you for posting!

When you edit the rest of them watch your skin smoothing. Its way over processed in #3.

I agree. I am also still working on my PP style/feel. Thanks for reaffirming this with me.

No Problem :) Trial and error! I use the skin smoothing brush in Lightroom and then make it about 45% or less.

#1 is my least favorite but #3 is my most fav. the ring thing again, yes I'd keep the focus on that for sure. Whats your set up?

Great, I will try that (yes, I do use lightroom)

I use a D5000, 35 mm 1.8, 70-300 Tamron 4-5.6, and I used a reflector for many of the shots yesterday (assistant in tow)
