So my #1 issue with this picture is that I shot up the babies nose I didn't realize this until post. I'll pay better attention next time

The baby looks very uncomfortable--I wouldn't keep this shot. Shooting up the nose is something you'll want to avoid, as you pointed out already. Toning down the reds a tad (not too much!) may also help the father's complexion look somewhat better.

You also cut off the baby's elbow.

I would have liked to see Dad in a little closer - it would have felt more intimate. He kinda looks weird floating over the two of them like that, with so much space between her back and his neck.

What kind of lighting setup did you use? It looks a little flat, and there are shadows in weird places. It looks like you had a light off to camera left, but really low, so the baby's head casts a long shadow on Mom's chin. It also seems like you had some fill light coming in from somewhere - on camera flash? There's some really strange light on the baby's shoulder and back that I don't understand though.

Thanks for sharing , yes you shot up the babies nose but hey they are babies and cannot be controlled too much. Having the mother look down on the little one caused a double chin that is hidden but it is there and does not make her neck very attractive. Looks like something reflective may have reflected light onto the babies arm and shoulder (fathers watch)?. The fathers nose is past the face line so it makes it look large. It looks like you had the light on the right side (their right) and that is good because you want the light closest to the person that has the darkest hair because it will absorb more light. These are the things I see, hopefully they help.
