First Hockey

Shot my first hockey game last night . Low light and through glass. Was a challenge.

Were you shooting raw? If so, go back and use the blacks and saturation slider...you tend to lose those two most when shooting through glass...you also have to constantly be re-focusing to make sure your subjects stay in focus...I shoot with a D300 as well and after a bit of PP they don't look that bad.

Tighter crop would have helped these shots, shooting through glass does present some concerns but it all depends on the glass, I've shot in local arenas that has good glass and NHL rinks that don't.
