First Mallard ducklings

My first mallard ducklings of the year.
Taken in low light, so had to up the ISO to 8,000. Hence a bit noisy, but I liked the group pose.

Is it just me or does that first shot have a tiny bit less exposure than the second? It seems the colors stand out a bit more. Perhaps bumping the contrast could give it a bit more oomph?

The are pretty cute.
You are right about the different exposures. When I did PP on them I applied different settings.

An update on the ducklings. After yesterdays torrential rain the small burn (Scottish word for stream) they live on got flooded and one duckling is gone.

The burn is now running normally after some heavy rain.
Sadly one more duckling gone.
