First Newborn Shoot

My first newborn session and first time using the 24-70mm 2.8! Any tips on what I can do for my next newborn shoot (which is this saturday) to make my pictures better? Thanks everyone!

Shoot from a lower position and avoid cropping bits of fringe, basket, etc.

LOVE these!! I agree with not cropping off elements of the photo like the basket and fringe. But overall these are great!! I would love to hear how you achieved this look! What lighting and backdrop (if any) did you use??

Be sure the baby's face is up more. Right now the blanket is covering half of it.

thanks for the tips everybody! sarad these were all lit with natural lighting from a big window and closed the curtains to diffuse the light. No backdrop was used.
