I like #2. It speaks to my urge to slow down and not stress... Or something.

I think #3 could have been better if you got the top of the trees in the shot.

Actually, scratch that. I like #3 just the way it is. Good job and thanks for sharing. :thumbup:

Oh you added another one... I like it too! There could be something technically wrong with your photos, I don't know because I'm a noob, but I think you have a good eye.

I like the Dandelion. You could have moved the camera so the sun was behind it, and a better crop.

#1 is nice. I live in LA, I have to drive a long way to be able to see the milky way. Did you light the tree? Just curious.

#2 also is very pleasing. The "action" seems to be to the left of the dandelion. My eye sees everything to the right of the dandelion as wasted space. I would prefer the shot to be cropped more to the "rule of thirds" with the dandelion on the right third. Maybe vertical orientation?

I used a Head lamp maybe for abt 2 seconds to light the tree. I have some others I have taken. But this was the second time I went to do it. Focus is the difficult part. I have one with an Osprey. We went to the spot at sunset and it was sat on a tree. The Millkyway pic is of the exact same tree only abt 2 hrs later.

Probably commiting some faux pas by uploading more pics to the same thread. Not trying to get them technically correct, just trying to make them visually appealing so can put it up on a wall

There is a nice quality to your photos, good stuff. I would critique but I don't really have suggestions for improvement except for "sunset". It feels empty. I would have gotten in closer to the lit tufts of grass in mid frame. The shot is about light, so let's see more of it!

#2 is gorgeous. I also like #3. very lovely. #1, I had a hard time figuring out what it was. It wasnt until another mentioned stars that I saw it. Something about the tree throws it off for me. With that said, overall enjoyed seeing them. Looking forward to more! Happy new year!
