First pics in non-auto modes

Picked up a Canon eos Rebel xs. Its my first Real Camera, Ive always wanted to learn how to take Photos and loose the snapshots. So with my daughter, and me taking Millions of pictures on my iphone (as all my facebook pals know) I decided to suck it up, dipped into my "Converion Van" fund and bought a rebel.

Here are a couple experimental shots of different settings. Extra cookies If you can guess which Pic Peyton, My Daughter decided she wanted her toys back and that i had to learn how to share

I never thought to record the settings for the pics, and i'll have to start saving to raw. but its my first day :blushing: and i've already learned some things.

Ya i was trying to find a picture ore calendar with a city or road for a background but came up with nothing.
