First Picture!!!-Of the cutest baby ever I might add!

First off I am totally new to all of this. I purchased a camera last Friday during the Black Friday craziness to help me capture all I can of my son as he is growing up. This first picture is obviously in Auto(which since I have been working in manual and the other functions) and I am sure there are tons of things wrong with it but its my first one as well as first introduction using gimp but being a proud dad I think anything my son is in is beautiful!. I believe in the gathering of knowledge so I have ordered tons of books by many suggestions on the forum and have started snapping away. Just wanted to show you a picture of my little man!!! He makes me so proud and I cant wait to learn all I can and as he grows my skills with a camera will as well hopefully!!! Thanks!!!

The eyes are amazing! I think a lot of people on this forum are still learning every day and I think that after a while you'll start to understand more and more.
