First Post, Stairway to Heaven

Hello,
New here, been shooting with a DSLR for about one year (learn something new everyday). This was taken in February at a place called stairway to heaven. Thanks for looking.

Very nice, 'though given your vantage point, I would say the title might better be expressed as "Stairway From Heaven".

Nice photo, I like the matte look.

Haha yeah it's a pretty popular spot, although it is currently illegal to go on.

................... I'm getting actual dizziness just looking at this, who's the madman who designed this thing.

But then again, what a wonderful shot.. Not sure the good picture would be enough to convince me to go step on that thing though. You got guts, I respect that.

It was built back in WWII and redone in 2003. It's pretty safe, but sadly currently illegal.

Why is it illegal?!

It's owned by the board of water supply. I believe it's a liability thing. They are currently going through a study to demolish the stairs.
