Hi Andrew, welcome to ThePhotoForum.
This is a nice photo with which to come and introduce yourself.
I moved it from Photo Critique to the Landscape and Nature forum since apparently you did not quite read all through our guidelines for that specific critique forum and did not ask for any specific critique.

Well, I like the POV (point of view) you chose, and the fact that there is this one dead tree among all the others in full foliage, everything just silhouetted against a lovely sky. Did you originally take this in black and white?

Ah gotcha. Thanks for the move!

And believe it or not this was shot digital in black and white . I have a fairly point and shoot Panasonic that takes beautiful pictures somehow. Not much for manual settings at all. Had I shot it on film I would pray for it to be exposed like this. Ah digi
