This is my first post. I just bought my first SLR camera so I'm looking for some suggestions on how to improve. The first 2 were shot with a sony point-n-shoot. Last one was with the new Sony A100.
Welcome to the forum. You will learn a lot from others here. For your first photo you have the horizon in the middle of the frame. As a general rule you should put your horizon on the top or bottom 1/3 of the photo. The second one there is a rogue branch coming off those trees. My eye always seems to go to that. Is that a high flying bird on the right side of the tower or is it dust on your sensor? I like the 3rd one the best. Good focus and detail. Most important....You should have gotten a Canon. (just kidding-inside joke between bmboll and I)
