First Shots

I got my first camera yesterday as a late Christmas gift. It's a Koday EasyShare. I'm new to photography and have been trying to test out and learn some of the basic techniques I've read about on the internet.

Anywaaaay, here are a few shots that I could use an honest critique on.

I like number one, it has that eerie look to it, but try to just focus on one lamp. Number two looks underexposed, and number three has a cool angle but try to get closer as to not get the chair arm in the shot, I think it would make it a lot cooler.
