First time out C & C

First "real" session. I drove around town about an hour before sunset, hitting up some scenic spots w/ the new camera. I know there are some problems w/ the shots, but i thought id share it for some info and constructive criticism as well.

using a tripod for the flowing water shots? If not, it would help sharpen things up a bit. To me, they just feel a little soft.

That last one is nice.

the flowing water shots were all on a tripod at f/22, as i was trying to get as much detail as possible,and a longer exposure for more flow, but ya it seems a little soft, i don't know why though.
