Errr. wow.

Too many to comment on, but...

1. Odd unflattering treatments/processing for children.
2. Strange things on children's heads.
3. Odd/bizarre expressions.
4. Framing issues.
5. Harsh flash.

Really, I would look for a course on the basics of composition... spend some time studying other photographers that focus on children, etc.

I can't talk about specific image bc im on ipod, but overall very poor IQ, poor lighting, composition is 50/50.
There r TONs of sites on lighting, read them. Read up on processing, since editing kids is VERY different then weddings, for example.
W/ time you will improve.

The lighting isn't very good, in some they seem very pop-up flash-ish. The compositions not great nor are the poses. They seem over saturated as well. Read up on composition and lighting. Like stated above you will get better in time.

The headpieces on the first few are too big. It takes the viewer's focus away from the baby. Try something a little more subtle, perhaps a smaller pin. Also the photos seem over-saturated (too much color). Tone it down a bit.

Keep taking photos, with time you will improve!

I like the baby yawning but the older kids have the tops of their heads cropped off which takes away from the overall shot.

too much hot spots on baby's skin.

Depends on what your budget is.

........ what kind of light should I buy??
The kind that does what you need it to do.

A goal is to use the light off the lens axis. On the lens axis light eliminates most of the shadows. It is the shadows that give a well made photograph a sense of character, drama, interest, and depth.
