First time shooting in a club

Just thought I'd share. These are a few shots from my friends' show. These guys are Mercury Sound out of San Jose, CA.

These are photos taken with flash that I LIKE!
The slow shutter + flash effects in the first two are really good. I like them much.
But also the drummer is thus perfectly exposed and the "star" of the flash reflection really adds a lot here, I think.

Thank you, all, for you comments. I normally stay away from flash because most of the colors in my pictures usually gets washed out. This is probably due to the fact that I'm completely clueless when it comes to working with flash. This show was a great learning experience.
