With a background and all,
C&C please =]

Oh, and I'm guessing the grainy look to my black backdrop is from the ISO being too high? Which is strange because I tried to stay on 400 for these pictures..

Also,
I apologize for spamming up your forums with all my topics =/

Thanks guys ^-^

#1 -- What is the subject
#2 -- OOF looks like
#3 -- Bad shadows, iron your background, move bear forward from background, I don't care for the subject
#4 -- Very grainy, not sure on the subject content either. Are we supposed to be reading Easter? Because it's cut off... Yellow egg is overexposed
#5 -- Better than #4 but the black cloth you have the stuff resting on is all rumpled and creased
#6 -- What is this...I don't even... But seriously, what were you going for here? It looks like you accidentally tripped the shutter while setting up your rig.

You're shooting with a P&S camera (Canon PowerShot S5 IS) so the ISO is going to have a huge impact. 400 may be acceptable on dSLR's, but i likely isn't on P&S's. Lower that sucker way down, like 100 or below. Steady the camera using a tripod to allow for the longer shutter speeds the lower ISO will command.

PS: I'm also in Nebraska!

Haha and I actually thought they were slightly decent =p
Thanks though!

Yeah, this camera is bugging me, I'll have to work on it.
I used the Manual focus tool for several of the pictures,
although I think most of these were taking using the "Super Macro" function.
The rest I took just came out terrible.

What part of NE?

Omaha of course!

Check out CL. I got my XS for $340 basically new off a guy in town!

Snapshots.

I dont think the grain is coming from your ISO settings. I think its the pattern of the wrinkled backdrop and the lack of knoing how to separate, and light the subject, and background.

Where would I find such information on how to separate the light, subject, and bg?

Didn't realize we could only hold 10 =p
