First time with a long exposure... C&C

Looks good. i love long exposure night shots. Next time try a 30 seconded shot and watch what happens to the clouds.
If they did 30 seconds, the clouds would look cool, but everything else would be blown out, including the wheel which is the main subject. Bad advice IMO.

That's a really nice shot. But let me add some constructive criticism.

Tell us what you were trying to achieve, and what camera settings you've chosen to make that work. What post-processing did you do? What are you happy with and what do you want some more help with? This way, we won't waste your time telling you what you already know, but will be directed to help you in the areas you feel you need the help. As well, when you ask specific questions, you have a much better chance of getting good responses and information.

In all honesty i've not at all been taking photos very long... 2, maybe 3 months. The aim of the picture? well i recently brought a wireless shutter release, and i work in London, so I really just wanted to experiment with it as i've never used one! I was inspired by pictures i'd seen of landmarks around london and i really wanted to give it a try, so that was my first attempt! So really, any comments at all, good or bad, would help me alot for the next time i go out in london... :D
