Here is my first attempt at photographing a bottle in "studio".
I used minimal equipment - just a window with white translucent paper as a white background and a SB-600 speedlight with white reflector as a front fill light.
The reflection was added in the post.
Shot with D90 + Nikkor 70-200 2.8 @200mm

Constructive C&C welcome!

It might help if the edges of the bottle were a little more defined. To do this, you would put something dark on either side of the bottle, behind and to the side, just out of the view of the lens.

Pretty darn good first attempt, and a good suggestion from Mike - if you're interested in this kind of work, it'd be well worth your time and money to pick up a copy of Light, Science & Magic!
