This my first attempt at doing portrait type photos of my daughter. Please tell me what you think.

I like #1 the best, though it is a bit washed out. Maybe next time do a head shot of her looking out the window? Are you using a flash in #3 or is it just the natural lighting?

While 1 looks ok, I am not wild about them, I think its the composition and lack of proper lighting, also in 1, her face doesnt seem to be the main focus, but there is some sunlight hitting her face, which doesnt help the focusing.

I like the 'mood' on #1. Looking out the window from what I can see wow... beautiful scenery. You two should have been outside imo.

Yes in 3 I tried to use the flash to get rid of the shadow on her face. As far composition what would you do diffirent?
