Soft Water by Lyonsroar91, on Flickr

I made it real easy for someone to steal this picture with a logo frame that can just be cropped out...:lmao:

Self critique:

I wish there were more headspace above the bridge. I wish the top didn't look **so** cluttered with green foliage.

Looks nice man, it's a solid shot... nice color, good exposure. It does look a little over sharpened to me.

Oversharpened. Hmmm. That's something I've not had before.

I sharpen in LR a little when exporting, I combine in dynamic photo HDR, and then run an unsharp mask in CS5. Hmmmm...
If I do a pass of noise reduction do ya think that'd help?

Very nice!

exif reads F1 @ 1mm...wow, that's a hellofalens! :D

I think it's a great shot. If I took shots like that, I could quit my day job!

I think the shot looks good as well. I'm not seeing the oversharpening on my screen.

3 EXP HDR image. IIRC this was with my Sigma 10-20mm at f11. I can't be for sure until I get home to my comp and can check the individual EXIF data.

If all my shots looked like that I would quit my day job. Unfortunately very few of them actually come out that good.

Thanks.

I like the shot as is. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!

I feel I need to tell you that you're likely to get in trouble with the admin's for that link in your sig. It could take unsuspecting browsers to a devious website...
just thought you ought to know...

Devious indeed! ;)

I think it looks fantastic.
Someone here said that they felt that about 10% of their pictures came out really good. So, I use that general rule of thumb, unfortunately I'm probably closer to 2% or 3%.

I would say I'm at 10% for "lookin' good"
probably 3% for "print that sucker"
