Want to buy a fisheye lens for my Canom XSI. Does anyone have a suggestion on which ones are the best? I will be using to get interesting pictures of landscapes and sports pictures. Thanks for the advice.

The Canon 15mm Fisheye is a good lens. Sports? I've never used a fisheye for sports, but I bet it would be a cool effect for close up shots. It's just hard to close without running on to the field...

Unless you're after a very specific style, a fisheye isn't really suitable for either of those applications. A very wide angle (assuming it doesn't suffer to greatly from distortion) is good for landscape work. For sports a long, fast tele-zoom is pretty much the standard now; 200-400mm f4, that sort of thing.

I am looking for some cool effects. Has anyone used or seen the Sigma 10mm F2.8 fisheye lens? If so what do you think?

There are some sports that benefit from using extremely wide lens, such as skateboarding or bmx. Fisheye lens are commonly used by photographers shooting this kind of sport.

Sports on fisheye will be weird unless you're trying to shoot a funny image. canon 15mm is highly recommended, great fisheye lens.
