I got this on my hike. There was a guy fishing with a lure. Something about it I liked.

Agreed, I love this shot. I like the angle of view you got of the angler retrieving the lure, this to me is a very original shot.

I was just thinking to myself, maybe a smaller aperature... or would it be bigger f/stop?
How would you say it?
I'm a no0d and want to know how to get the lure and the water.
I'm guessing the camera was set to f/5.6?
Would f/8 had done it?
Am I sounding like jibber?
Am I remotely right?
Faster shutter speed maybe?

For what it's worth, the color is awesome.

Smaller aperture would have helped. Also, using AI Servo focus mode.

Hi, Yes, I'm in Reston. I hike a lot of the parks in our area. I also go to WV and Maryland. These shots I took at Shenandoah National Park.

Funny, we were riding out around Elizabeth Furnace today.
I froze my ass off. :shiver:

Yeah, winter is not far away. I went ATV riding today. Thats more fun when it's cold out. It was 30 degrees when we started.

ATV's would have been the better thing to ride today, for sure.
You move around a lot more, plus the speeds are a little slower.

For me, it's time to winterize the bike and dust off the snowboard!!!

I just got the photography bug, I've got a ton to learn.
