Last year my good friend and her boyfriend went to the beach, and they took this photo (with a normal snap-cam). She asked me if i could do anything to fix it because it was their favorite. So i tried something....and she had the pic framed.

I basically played with the Levels and Curves (reduced the blue in the skintones, added red), then I desaturated the image, sharpened it, corrected the sunglasses because i didn't like how they reflected the bottom of the beach and in his sunglasses you could see his arms, and the camera.

So here it is, tell me what you think...

I'm not saying that they look natural tanned, but the are not jaundiced I just wanted to create the feeling of the late afternoon at the beach with the sun slowly setting.
