Flash diffuser

Im going to buy the Nikon SB-600 Speed light. Should i use a diffuser? and if so , which one should i get? omnibounce, softbox?

Each flash accessory has it's own pros and cons. Some work well in some situations but not so much in others. Most (like the Omnibounce) are meant to be used when you are bouncing the light off of the ceiling (or a wall etc.)

There is no right or wrong but it's certainly true that a good understanding of light will help you much more than any accessory.
