I am some what embarrassed to post these as they can not compete with @coastalconn , or @DarkShadow , or @HavToNo , or @zombiesniper or @ZombiesniperJr . Who cares, it's not a competion! I love them all and they're my buds. They know I can't hold their jockstrap.

However, they have inspired this street guy to expand and I can say in all honesty, if it ain't moving, I'm golden. I often think of all of you when I'm shooting. I think that is the best thing about this forum. Expand and move forward. I will probably never be a BIF photog. But I should probably get it out of my system. These were with 80mm macro and bare feet

I love y'all. I need a bird in flight to move on.

Actually those are both great shots. There's a little more going on than a typical static bird shot which more than makes up for a any [very] minor technical concerns.

Thank you for the flattering words.
Glad I could help someone get out of their comfort zone.

Both are great images and stand up on their own.
Well done.

Thanks JC for the kind words but thats nonsense, these are great shots, you have become a well rounded photographer, keep up the nice work your doing. cheers.

Two words of advice.. Be careful! We all start with bird images that aren't moving, next thing you know you have lenses that weight 6-8# multiple fast camera bodies, droopy eyes from not sleeping. The list goes on and on, it turns into an addiction. You will get your birds in flight, I have no doubt. Keep up the great work!

If you clone out the pier post ... you’ll have your BIF.
