It would nice if you would number your images when posting - this makes it easier for a reviewer to refer to them. I like the middle one the best. In the first one the shoreline is tilted to the right and it might be better if it was flat. In the third one, I wondered what a landscape orientation of the image would look like, although I do like the reflection, even though you cannot see the clouds in it (would be nice). The shoreline, which serves a as kind of horizon is very close to the centre of the image and this is not always the best place for it. You might want to check out the rule of thirds on horizon placement.

on #3 the reflection is actually the actual tree's, the image is upside down. I was playing around with shooting the reflection as the main subject. I usually don't put horizons in the middle of the frame but it seemed to work in that one for me.

Very interesting. That may help to explain the "odd looking clouds" in the "sky". Thanks for the clarification, but it still doesn't help me understand why there are no obvious clouds in the bottom half of the image.

I think in that third you didn't use GND filters for actual clouds, maybe the reflection was a tid underexposed so you could see the clouds, or you used that GND opposite [used GND for reflection rather than the actual sky orientation].

I also like the second best, the first one doesn't do for me rather than that deep blue color of the water, no reflection, and you didn't take a landscape orientation, so it is not that much good as the other two.
