Might just be my monitor, but the flower just seems a little soft. Great DOF and the comp is cool. Maybe boost the contrast a tad?
But it might still be this cheapy monitor I got.

Hey CaptBlue! Its a nice pic of a hibiscus flower, I hope you don't mind but I felt it needed a little bit more 'punch' - so I had a quick play to adjust the colours. All I did was crop in slightly to fill more of the frame with your subject, and did an 'auto levels' and 'auto colours' in photoshop. Oh yeah, the frame too...
Next time, try to get in a little closer so that there isnt so much of that blank background on the right hand side - but overall well done!
