That's right. Goose chicks... in November!
Oh yeah, and a flying gull. No surprises there. :p

C&C always welcome.

Nice shots, I like them all. Is the last one an Egyptian goose? If so, are the goslings Egyptian geese as well? Just curious, that's all - how did they get to Holland? If they aren't Egyptian geese, what are they? Thanks.

Yes that is an Egyptian goose. As are the chicks.
People imported them in the past keeping them in pens and such.
Some of those were set free or escaped and managed to survive in the wild.
They now have self-sustaining colonies here. ^^

Thanks, I thought they looked a lot like the geese I have seen on my visits to Africa. Maybe the fact that they are originally from southern Africa explains why there are goslings in November - seasons are all confused as November is late Spring in their place of origin - don't know, just guessing. Did they keep them for food or pets?

Mostly food. :p
They're quite used to the seasons actually as it's been quite a few years since they were introduced as far as I know.
The problem isn't them being used to november, the problem is them not being used to weird weather.
Our seasons are a bit messed up lately, some of the other birds have chicks too... Poor little guys. Winter is near, that'll be really tough to survive.
