focal distance

hey there

i thought it would be a nice idea to take the same picture, but with different focal distances. The left 2 pics are made with my 18-55mm and the right 2 pics are made with my 70-300mm
so upper-left is 18mm, underneath that one 55mm. Upper-right is 70mm and the one underneath that is 300mm.
Just wanted to show the difference, since i didnt have a clue how big of a difference was between 18mm and 300mm. And maybe there are more people who dont know.

What a lovely idea!
Your 300mm photo is very sharp, given the light situation! Wow. I'd never have managed THAT!

(This idea might help me put into a frame like this that black+white conversion of mine that I once put through all the filter possibilities my very humple post processing programme offers me, ha! )
