Focus issues

Most nikon camera have 2 arrows pointing at each other telling you which way to focus and a circle that appears between them confirming focus. I use a single focus point, place it where I want focus than use back button focus that locks focus for that spot even if you recompose. Auto everything is nice, but you are shooting a camera that allows you to drive the train and be sure it is focusing on what you want and chose the iso, shutter speed and aperture you want.
