I learned to drive truck in a 1947 Ford 2-ton with a teeny-tiny little V-8 engine...I still have a soft spot for old truck interiors...a few summers later I was delivering fuel in an ancient, worn-out old 1953 clunker that, with all six compartments loaded with diesel, could do about 48 MPH, MAX, on level ground in top gear...the thing had been beat to hades for thirty years!
