Folder not Showing on Backup HDD

I use SyncToy to sync my desktop-laptop-backup 1TB drive and any combination of each.

One sync action I have is to sync the documents folder on my laptop to the documents folder on the backup. The only problem is, that documents folder is nowhere to be found. I can't unlock folders, unhide them or anything.

When I try to do "new folder" and name is Documents, it wants to merge it with the folder already names "Documents." I don't want to do that.

Once, I named a new folder names "Documents Backup" and that too has disappeared!

Any ideas? I know it's there, it's just not viewable.
