Foot / Pedal Shutter Release

Hi All,

I have seen in a few situations people using foot pedals as shutter release's to take images on copy stands, however ive found nothing other than DIY setups on the internet, anyone have any idea where i may be able to find one?

Just did a quick google search and it appears all there is are DIY solutions.

I'd hope that if there was a product available when you searched "Foot pedal shutter release" they would have SEOed there website well enough it would be at the top.

Your going to have to make one yourself..

Before you go out and buy one, consider this; for Canon and Nikon to release the shutter on many models all you need to do is connect two points electrically together. This is a case of a guitar pedal switch + connector and hooking the wires together so simply that it wouldn't even make its way into "the funway into electronics book 1 - beginners"

There are sometimes when the DIY solution is the best, and you can make an astonishing quality switch for probably around $10.

Unless of course your camera is more complicated in which case I take it all back
