White foamcore background and base with a thin layer of plexiglass for the flower to sit on. Light was frame left up about 2 feet or so, reflector frame right angled down.

This is processed way more than most of my flower shots, but I like the effect:

1. corrections (tone, heals, etc)
2. duplicate layer
3. 4.0 radius high-pass filter
4. Vivid Light blend
5. merge down
6. Duplicate layer
7. 6.9 radius high-pass filter
8. 30% opacity, 'color' blend
9. merge down
10. Duplicate layer
11. 9.5 radius Gaussian blur
12. 60% opacity
13. merge down
14. unsharpen mask 100/30.0/0
