Footsteps frozen in time...

During a session shooting sunset shots, I saw this on the ice and thought it was an interesting composition.

However, looking at it later, it occured to me that perhaps I should have cropped it differently. A wider shot of where this is taken is below. If you were there, what would you have focused on?

There are a lot of images in there. The one you pulled out is good. I'd probably darken the mid-tones a bit, but that's about it. A composition that also included the other dark patch to the left might also be interesting, and of course the building and tree silhouette with some of the tracks just in front of them would be hard to resist.

Thanks, Ken! I didn't even see the crop of the building of with the tracks in front of it... Good eye.
