Just because I no longer eat meat does not mean I don't like bacon.

A bacon butty / sarnie, is quite possibly the greatest simplest breakfast you can treat yourself too.
White bread, no fancy brown bread, or seed infested bread.
And a nice smear of Heinz tomato ketchup, with 4 bits of bacon in it.
My mouth is watering..... That's it I'm making 1!

I agree, however you are skiping if you only have 4 slices on your roll.

Just to open it up a bit cabbage sauted with crispy bacon with a little cream and chestnut is heavenly. Goes really well as a stuffing for Pork or with game like Guinea fowl or Partridge served on top.

This is the truth. Cookie, the dog, didn't like bacon. I give her a piece and she'd take it nicely from my hand and place it on the ground. If I put some in her food, she'd remove the bacon and stack it next to her dish. Finally, I had enough. I mean what man or beast doesn't like bacon... right? So I stuck a slice in her mouth and held her mouth shut. ... Now she likes bacon. But when she eats bacon she doesn't wolf it down ... she chews and chews and chews the hell out of it ... savoring every morsel.
