I was wondering what kind of software you use? I use NVU at the moment. thinking that i would like to go into web deign for a job in a few years, just wanted to see what people use for programs and how they like them.

why not DreamWeaver or Joomla? I use both of them when I build my site about interior design

Kompozer is a good one. nVu derivative. :thumbup:

notepad++ on my windows machines, vi on my unix ones for the code portion. always used photoshop for the layout/graphics. prefer to keep things as simple as possible.

of course, i've gotten lazy these days. my current site is wordpress and a stupid theme i've modified a little. i hate it, but i have no time yet to roll my own. its the plan i just need to find the time to do it.

Used to use SimpleText. Now I use Dreamweaver. I still often edit the code myself.
