Hmm,

Not bad but it seems like three separate subjects none of them seems to interact.

You have a forest, a dog sitting in front of someone and a guy on a log. The kid could have hugged the dog or in some way been interacting with the dog. Also zooming in on them would have been better (if they were interacting).

A photo is a conversation without words, basically. So try to tell a story or convey something. A kids love for his dog, or how the two of them enjoy the forest together or something.
