My first baby pics...did not have good lighting and he moved around a lot, I did not bring my tripod...lol so I was at a disadvantage here but I could some cute ones...here are 2.

I agree that the second one is an interesting angle.

The fact that the main source of light is behind the baby is making it very dark. I see you shot at F5.6. Could you have opened it up any more? If so, then you'd be able to capture much more light in the same amount of time.
