Friends in France

So for about half of November, I was in Paris. First real vacation ever, so I was pretty excited about that. A few days in, a friend of mine, John flew in to hang out for a week. He too was in dire need of a vacation (70+ hrs a week working in a power plant since February). We stayed at a hostel while we were there any made MANY friends, but Rebecca stuck out the most. She's an amazing girl. Unfortunately, she lives on the opposite side of the US, but at least we're in the same country! Anyway, after ten days together in a strange new world, you can imagine we all got pretty close. Just wanted to share a few moments at the arc du triomphe (a.k.a. Napoleon's metaphorical pen15, or so I'm told). C+C welcome. I didn't have lightroom on the computer I touched them up on, so I did the best with what I had:

1. Love this shot. My buddy is a big teddy bear.


2. Full image of the crop above. Something about their legs that describes their personalities so well. I guess you have to know them to understand what I mean.


3. DAMN WOMAN IN THE BACKGROUND!!! Tourists. Sheesh.

This is a good assumption and one I often do.
