I'm new to this forum, hoping to receive some feedback to improve on my portrait skills be it retouching or shooting!

For this image, I did a B&W and colour rendition.

Lighting is proper and she is beatiful no doubts but I don't like how her lips look in the photo. Maybe if the teeth hadn't been shown the photo would look even better.

Yes she's definitely beautiful! I do agree about her lips, will take note of that when shooting. Thanks for your feedback!

She is beautiful but the framing is offputting for me.
What I would think of as the most important part, her face, is way off in the corner and most of the frame is taken up with much less important stuff.
Her right hand appears out of the margin.
Her left hand is the largest bright part of the image.

It looks like a mis-framed shot to me.

I would agree with framing her face a little further to the right but not by much. To me the asymmetry has a dynamic quality. Like the color version best.

The framing really hurts this one, otherwise I really quite like it. The color is significantly better than the B&W conversion.
