From D700 to D750?

Haha I need to replace the F2.8D 20mm because I don't think it will do well on the D750, so glad Nikon came up with the new 1.8G version!

The planned ride for this weekend may not happen because the weather doesn't look very predictable. Either ways, can't wait to take some test shots soon!

I use the Sandisk Extreme Pros still. You can get them in 8,16,32,64,128 last that I checked.

If I recall the speed is 95/90 read/write

I think this is one of he fastest for the memory bus architecture.
The newer super fast cards are made for the d500/d5 bus which can work on the d750 but go into a compatibility mode which isn't very fast.

It's U3 spec, not a U1. Does this affect compatibility?

yes that should be fine
here's what some of the numbers mean ==> SD/SDHC/SDXC Specifications and Compatibility

what I've never looked into is the markings in relation to Video.
But in general you want a UHS-I card

and not the UHS-II cards. notice the D500 (made for the card) vs D750 speeds in a chart 2/3 down ==> SanDisk Extreme Pro 280MB/s 32GB UHS-II SDHC Memory Card - Camera Memory Speed Comparison & Performance tests for SD and CF cards

I'm not an expert at these and just use what I know works well in my D750 & D600. We've had threads about these in the past too.
