from the garden

My wife went out last evening to water the garden -- still near 100 degrees here in St. Louis at 6:30 pm.

I followed along with the camera. Her cleome are in bloom right now. They are the most amazing flowers -- I call them fireworks flowers. She tells me some people call them spider flowers. Here's a snapshot of one:
