Boy, must it have been cold to even freeze these rushing waters!!!
The blue cast --- is it a photo converted into black and white with some blue added, or is this a colour photo and the colours were like this? The blue very much adds to the overpowering feeling of "brrrrr! co-ho-ho-ho-hoooold!" *shiver*

Hi and thanks, it is a color photo and I did tweak the color a little bit for some extra blue, but it was extemely cold. There are 7 waterfalls along a short 15 mile stretch of the Columbia Gorge called the old highway, now I-84 between Oregon and Washington. There are 77 waterfalls on the Oregon side alone of the Columbia River Gorge. Everything was covered in thick ice, it was amazing.
