Just been messin' round with my new tent taking some shots of fruit....

This is just my opinion..

1st image seems a little under exposed
2nd. over

Also, i would try swapping the background color to a contrast color of the subjects.. or any other color,white, dark grey. It'll really help make the subject stand out and draw the viewers attention

The apple... what's the goal there?
I like my apples fresh and not looking like something sank its teeth into it already =)
The picture is dark, the fruit doesn't look appealing at all.

The 2nd one... Overexposed. Colors and detail get lost. Lack of contrast. The focus looks way off to me.

Do keep experimenting! At least you got an excuse for getting some more yummie strawberries!! =)
