It's a wonderful camera for someone just getting into SLR. I have two of these great cameras. Used them both all the time. Got a 50D for Christmas. Don't need 3!!!!!

The standard "kit" lens. But it's very adequate, as you may know.

Like I said , I should know by tomorrow if the first person is going to buy camera setup, at full asking price.

Alright, if he doesn't buy it, I still don't know if I can. My parents are wanting me to get a good camera for that price with a lens. But I am still wanting to find a Nikon D70, I already have a lens for it.

I don't know much about Nikon cameras, but I know that they are just as good as Canon. But I'm thinking you might not be able to get as good a deal as what I'm offering on my lovingly cared for Canon.
