Youre 100% right, this is a great lens. For those with crop bodies it is a little long but still one of the best lenses Ive ever purchased.

Just a heads up, this is about the exact price that they sell for brand new online.

retail price is $496 new, yes, Nikon does have a limited time rebate, but it is ending in a few days and prices will return to $496, I'm not in a hurry to sell it, and for those who don't get it during the rebate, this one will be $100 off the new price, and well within the current fair market value for what these are going for used in this condition.

EDIT- well Nikon renewed their rebate offer for another month, so I'm taking this off the table for now, its just not worth it to compete with Nikon's rebate when it exceeds fair market used value, and this lens is too good to just give away at super cheap prices. if someone finds this post and is interested, shoot me a PM, but I'm not going to be actively promoting it.
