Fuji GA645ZI Tractor Show pics

I use both types of computers. Mac Pro at work and a scratch built PC with Windows 10 at home. I'm self taught with PS since version 4, before they went to the CS versions. I have LR as well with the "CC" version of PS but have yet to use it since I do not shoot digital.

Thats the thing, I don't shoot much digital. I'm only buying the GFX because I need it for some product / company side work that requires high resolution images. I can edit the film stuff well enough on Gimp. I'm sure I'll use the GFX for fun stuff but not why I'm buying it.

Sounds like PS LR or Cap-1 would be overkill for you.

It may be. They have been reasonably happy so far but want the upcoming stuff better. They had someone in house doing the work but had to fire her. They don't really want to replace her either. Her work was being shot with a digital Pentax medium format and it was very good, super high resolution. I'm going to need to step up my game for the next project so I can pay for future stuff.

At least Cap one is a one price software unlike PS/LR which cost me $9.99 a month for both (but I can "write it off" for my home business).

I like that in sepia, fits the subjects. You got some nice photos. I'd think about shooting just a little tighter to eliminate those peeps wandering in and out of the edges of your photos. I think if they're not part of the photo/composition, then I'd try to keep them out of the frame (which I know, I've done events, is tricky when people are wandering around). Unless the photo is about people looking at the exhibit then they should be in the picture of course.

Your photos don't look like they need much editing, they look good. You seem to have a good eye.

Thanks. Yes, it is hard to keep people out, especially since these were all moving, except for one. Editing is a strange thing for me. Most of the time I am happy with them just as is. Most times I edit and end up going back to original. I think the auto exposure on this Fujifilm is very accurate. I need to speed up the shutter when using this, if it moving. I am definitely not an auto focus guy. I read the manual and I need to lock the focus, it's just not made for this type of stuff. I tried though. It has manual focus but it is a PITA and not worth it. Probably a more than capable landscape, vacation or travel camera.
