I am looking into buying a new compact mirrorless mainly for having something handier than a DSLR, still being able to take some good quality pictures and play a bit with the camera to improve my skills.

I have restricted my choice between the Fujifilm X-A1 and the Sony NEX-3N. Without looking at the cost I would go for the Fujifilm, but at the moment the prices are quite different: X-A1 is 460€, NEX-3N is 305€.

On the X-A1 side I have a slightly better image quality, more controls and the presence of a hot shoe, while on the NEX-3N side the camera with lens in considerably smaller and cheaper.

What are your advices?

Thanks!!!

I just bought an X-A1 and I am very pleased. The kit lens is very sharp and, what sold me, it can take useable images at ISO 3200, even 6400 in some cases. If you anticipate using the camera indoors at all, or at dusk and dawn, it is a great camera!
